Drum Brae / Gyle Ward: Candidate - Fiona Paterson
The Greens have selected Fiona Paterson as candidate in the Drum Brae / Gyle ward for the City Council elections of 3 May 2007.
Fiona was born and brought up near Glasgow and moved to Edinburgh to study at Heriot-Watt University. She has worked as a support worker with disabled people, teacher and administrator before setting up her own business as a translator.
“This is a very exciting time for Scotland,” says Fiona. “These elections are our chance to show what really matters to us. The Greens stand for a clean environment and sensible use of resources, but they also stand for support for local communities, affordable housing and improved education.”
