“This is a budget concocted for tomorrow’s headlines,
lacking in vision and with no sense of future direction for Edinburgh. The dominating theme has been how best to jump through national government’s council tax hoops.
“For a city that is ideally placed to lead the nation on climate change it has little to recommend it.”
