Grow your own delicious raspberries. Plant these canes in a sunny spot and you’ll enjoy two crops each year.
Shoots from the previous-year canes produce raspberries in June-July, then new canes growing from the root give a second crop August-October.
Once established, these will keep on going year after year, just requiring a bit of pruning. They propagate quite rapidly via underground sucker roots, so you’ll be gathering big crops after a couple of years.
These half-dozen rubus idaeus (‘Autumn Bliss’) canes are the spare ones I’m digging up this winter as our raspberry patch has spread too far.
