I popped into the Age Scotland shop in Nicholson Street recently to have a look at their new campaign.
Entitled “Walk In Our Shoes, Act On Our Issues“, the campaign aims to help local residents understand the problems which face our older citizens as they travel around our city and use the services which we all take for granted.
It was certainly eye-opening seeing how little things like the state of the pavement can leave old people feeling isolated from the rest of society. As a Councillor, I’ll certainly help Age Scotland and the various Council departments work together on these issues.
