Upcoming Events

Under COVID-19 conditions, all branch and local teams meetings will be held online, or following the appropriate guidance, may be outdoors and distanced. Please check individual events below for details.

The Edinburgh Branch meets on the fourth Thursday of most months, usually from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.  Note – some meetings may be held on an alternative date, and times may also vary – see listings below.

Some branch meetings are open to non-members – see details for individual events, or email edinburgh@scottishgreens.org.uk to confirm. Children are welcome.

Online access: Links will be shared via members’ e-newsletter for branch meetings; or email comms.edin@scottishgreens.org.uk. Local subbranches and teams will email meetings links monthly.

Accessibility (in person meetings): We try to ensure measures are in place for a variety of access needs. Please see individual event details for accessibility information.

The Edinburgh Branch Committee meets on the first Thursday of each month. Any member is free to attend by contacting comms.edin@scottishgreens.org.uk.

The Craigentinny/Duddingston local team meets on the first Tuesday of each month to receive updates from our local representative Cllr Alex Staniforth, discuss campaign activities in the ward, and socialise with our fellow Greens.

We welcome both members and supporters at our meetings. These meetings are currently taking place online due to distancing restrictions – look out for team emails with the online meeting link, or contact Margaret Bennett the team coordinator: craigentinny.duddingston@scottishgreens.org.uk

In-person meetings:
We meet in the Persevere room of the Leith Community Centre. Access from Newkirkgate precinct via outside stairs, or via lift.

Accessibility:
The meeting venue can be accessed via a lift from the Newkirkgate precinct (note, there is a longish walkway from the level 1 lift exit to the community centre door); alternatively, via the car park ramp to the rear of the building. If you have any communications support needs or other accessibility queries, please contact leith.leithwalk@scottishgreens.org.uk.
