Join us for a leisurely wander through Holyrood Park to see what wildlife we can find in the City Centre.
Meet at the ponds outside the Scottish Parliament at 10am for a two-hour walk through the park, finishing at Dunsapie Loch for a picnic, so don’t forget to bring your lunch.
The route will involve some walking up and down hill on rough ground, though we won’t be climbing Arthur’s Seat or the Crags.
Children and dogs welcome. Dogs need to be on a lead to protect ground-nesting birds in wild areas of the park.
If you’re interested in recording what you see and have a camera/phone with you, you could download the iNaturalist app – info on www.inaturalist.org

We publish events and consultations in our calendar which we hope will be of interest to our members and supporters. We strive to be accurate in these listings, so please contact us if you see an error or problem. The organisers of third-party events (coded blue) are mostly unconnected to us, and we have no control over these.
If you know of an event that you would like to see listed here, please let us know.
