NEL’s November Social – fix your clothes with the Greens!

A friendly get-together with chat and some sewing. A perfect opportunity to tackle your mending pile!

Join North Edinburgh Greens from 7pm on 27th November in the Persevere Room, Kirkgate Community Centre to get help mending clothing or to learn basic hand sewing skills.

Suitable for beginners and experts to share and get advice while tackling their mending pile.

This event is run by Mary, a sewing volunteer with the zero waste charity SHRUB Coop. She will bring along the essential needles, threads, pins, scissors, patches, etc. but if there are specific things that you’ll need (e.g. a zip), please bring them with you.
