Protest outside City Chambers: Saving Lives is NOT Controversial

Edinburgh Critical Mass will be holding a banner outside the City Chambers, while members arrive for the Transport and Environment Committee. The group are asking TEC councillors to dial down the rhetoric, support the facts and make Edinburgh safer.

“Recent events have shown that delays cost lives. A proposed bus gate on the Cowgate by Autumn 2024 could have avoided another death. People don’t elect councillors to represent cars and fossil fuels, they elect them to represent residents – the child going to school, the person going to the shops, people having a night out.”
