Cam Wright was the Green candidate for Broxburn, Uphall and Winchburgh in the 2022 Council Elections.

I was born and raised in West Lothian. As an experienced software engineer currently studying a masters in Urban Analytics, I am passionate about shifting our society towards more sustainable environments and transport systems.

In 2021, I was elected as Secretary for Linlithgow and Linlithgow Bridge Community Council. Strengthening our local democracy, and ensuring the Council listen to local views, is important to me. I have also campaigned for improved rail links, and volunteered as a Silver Surfer Tutor with Bield Housing Association to help older people feel more confident using technology to keep in touch with friends and family.

I believe it is vital that all Green voters get to have their voices heard in the local elections. So I am standing as a candidate to ensure people in Broxburn, Uphall and Winchburgh can show their support for a bolder, more urgent local response to the climate and environmental crises that affect us all.
