Helen is the Green candidate for Colinton/Fairmilehead ward in the 2022 Council Elections.
She returned to Oxgangs in 2017, after having moved to Fife with her family when she was three and is passionate about being the first Green councillor in the Colinton/Fairmilehead ward.
Helen is one of the Policy and Campaigns Officers on the Edinburgh Greens branch committee and she works as a researcher for Gillian Mackay MSP. She specialises in health policy and has a particular interest in public health, health inequalities and mental health, as well as how our environments affect our health.
She wants to help transform Edinburgh into a city that works for everyone: with cleaner air, accessible green space, and affordable, good quality housing.
