Your local Green Councillor
Mary Campbell was elected as the Green Councillor for Portobello/Craigmillar on Edinburgh Council in May 2017. She is the Green Party spokesperson for Education, and a member of the Education, Children and Families Committee, and the Corporate Policy and Strategy Committee. She also represents the Green group of Councillors on COSLA.
Prior to her election in May 2017 Mary worked for an arts charity, having previously worked as a learning assistant in Primary schools. She was a board member of Action Porty, the group that completed the first successful urban community buy out.
Mary lives in Portobello with her partner and two young children.
