Pizza, Irn Bru and a chinwag about standing for elections: for women and non-binary members

Thursday 22 May @ 6:15 pm - 7:30 pm

Are you a woman or a non-binary member of the Edinburgh Greens and thinking you might like to be a candidate in an election one day? Perhaps for Holyrood 2026? Or local council in 2027?

Come along for our pizza and Irn-Bru meetup to meet others in the same boat, and share excitements and concerns and questions about the process of becoming a candidate for the Edinburgh Greens.

This session will be in-person only, and will be followed by our regular branch meeting (which you don’t need to stay for if you don’t want to!) The venue has a web page with lots of info about accessibility. Their toilets are accessible and gender neutral.

We’d be grateful if you could let us know…

  1. If you’ll be joining us and
  2. If you have any pizza-related dietary requirements so we can get a good amount of pizza in.

… email kate.nevens@scottishgreens.org.uk.

Any questions or thoughts on these sessions, do get in contact!
