Edinburgh Branch Meeting: A new tram for Edinburgh?

Thursday 23 May @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Event Series Event Series (See All)

Edinburgh Council is looking to extend the tram network, and one option they are considering is a route that would go through the Roseburn Path. Edinburgh Greens have always been supportive of tram extension as a mode of more sustainable travel, but there is a lot of concern over what this option could mean for a much-loved green corridor in the city.

Join our monthly branch meeting to discuss how Green Councillors have responded so far, how the Council will make decisions about the tram, and have your say over what you think of the route options that have been put forward.

There will be a break during the meeting, and we offer tea and coffee with plant-based milk and a biscuit, including a vegan option. Water is available on request. Donations for tea/coffee/biscuits are welcome.

Accessibility

The meeting is at Augustine United Church. You can find information about venue accessibility here.

The meeting is also accessible online via Zoom and closed captions will be enabled. Look out for details of how to join the online meetings in your monthly member e-news and reminder email.
