People with learning disabilities and neurodivergent people are unique individuals who, like all of us, have potential to develop, skills to offer, and vibrant lives to lead connected to their families and communities.
They may think differently and see and experience the world differently. This shouldn’t cause them to be marginalised, stigmatised, disadvantaged or excluded.
By better protecting, respecting and championing the rights of people with learning disabilities and neurodivergent people, all of Scotland benefits.
This consultation on seeks the views of everyone on how we can do this. Accessible consultation events are listed on the consultation page.
Deadline for responses is 21 April 2024.
Scottish Commission for People with Learning Disabilities has produced a short film on how to respond to the consultation.
We publish events and consultations in our calendar which we hope will be of interest to our members and supporters. We strive to be accurate in these listings, so please contact us if you see an error or problem. The organisers of third-party events (coded blue) are mostly unconnected to us, and we have no control over these.
If you know of an event that you would like to see listed here, please let us know.
